I would consider Panago pizza the classiest of the stereotypical chains (Domino’s, Pizza Hut, even local favorite Pizza Hotline). They take great care in having a lot of good selection of fresh toppings and a great deal of healthy options.

We had the Chicken Club pizza on a whole wheat thin crust (substituted tomatoes with Mushrooms). The pizza was good, maybe I’m already starting to get jaded but it wasn’t as good as it has been for me in the past. The delivery guy had a bit of trouble finding the place so the pizza wasn’t as hot as I would like it but he did apologize which can be rare because the only people more jaded than people ordering the pizza is the people delivering it. Over all the pizza was good, I enjoyed the jalapeno white sauce it is a nice change from regular pizza sauce, but I just thought the pizza as a whole could have used a bit more zest.

  • Delivery wait time: About 1 hour on a Saturday evening
  • Staff Friendliness: starstarstarstar
  • Freshness: starstarstar
  • Hotness: starstarstar

The health reasons rumor is just that- a rumor. The name was shortened because it was sold to new owners, who did not have the last name Panagopolous

I dig that they offer veggie pepperoni. As a vegetarian, it’s nice to feel included.

I do like Panago as well. A little more money but good variety and interesting Pizza’s. But your point about them be the ‘classiest’…I heard recently that Panago which was once Panagopolis was shut down many times for health reasons in the past.
