On our maiden voyage into the world is eating pizza we decided to go with one I’ve long enjoy and that Xal has never had the chance to try: Santa Lucia Pizza. We ordered the Santa Lucia Special (Pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions.
We called around 9pm on a Friday night, it was a night in so we expected to wait more than the usually “45 Minutes – 1 hour” that you are always quote when ordering pizza in Winnipeg. To our delight the pizza made it to us in just under 40 minutes.
The Santa Lucia special is an amazing pizza. The thing I really enjoy is that their pizza’s are hearty, if you are hungry, or you are looking to feed a crowd/office/party/friends helping you move this pizza is going to fill you up. The crust is moist, saucy was tangy, and the toppings were cooked up just right. It felt like eating a fresh homemade pizza but a little better.
