We recently decided it was probably time to try one of the big old pizza chains. One of the ones that have been known and loved by families all over North America for years and years. I remember going to Pizza Hut as a kid back when my taste buds only excepted cheese and pepperoni as acceptable pizza toppings. Things have changed…a little…we got ourselves a Canadian Pizza from Pizza Hut. It had Bacon, Mushrooms, and…pepperoni. I also got a few dipping sauces because we ordered online and I’m easily up sold by pretty pictures.
Ordering on the Pizza Hut website seems like it should be easy at first glance, but in reality it is a flawed system. Flawed to the point where the Pizza Hut on Pembina had to call us and ask us our address because when we selected a dipping sauce it erased the address. Stick to the phone and you’ll be fine.
The pizza, well, it reminds me of pizza you order from a big pizza chain. It was bland as heck. Don’t get me wrong, the first few bites of the first piece tasted great, nice and saucy. However a second slice in and I was thankful I had the dipping sauce. I wasn’t impressed with Pizza Hut at all.

Well clearly you don’t live where I do. :l Our pizza hut is always delicious!
But the godfather pizza is MUCH better! O_O They have lots of toppings, delicious crust, and if your ever there, try a calzone!
NOM.
I’ve driven past Godfather pizza, but have yet to try it! Must add to my list.

@Matthew – It was pretty clearly pointed out, by the reviewers themselves, of the clear bias towards smaller pizza chains and their interest in reviewing a national level chain. And yes, I dislike Pizza Hut also, for quality as much as price.
Out of all the pizza joints in Winnipeg, I can’t understand why you would choose a national chain.
Because pizza is pizza, got to get to them all eventually!

Pizza Hut back in the 70’s is not the same Pizza Hut as today. As a teen, they only had one Pizza Hut in Winnipeg on Portage Ave. and it was good. Now that they have been franchised and become a big chain, their pizza tastes like any other big chain, pump out the pizzas operation. My opinion….Yuck!!! Okay for kids, but not adults.
