Just last week Xal came home with a pizza flier for River City Pizza. I was excited, I was even more excited that she had a coupon in her hands too! There is a good chance you can get a discount too if you become friends with River City Pizza on Facebook. I love that social networking is promoting a good slice of pizza.
We ordered the Bacon Ranch Deluxe without the Pineapple and added chicken (extra fee) in hopes of finding an even better version of the Pizza Hotline’s Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, which is a personal favorite of mine. The gentlemen we spoke to on the phone was very willing to get us the exact pizza we wanted, and wasn’t a fast talking angst ridden teenager who would rather be texting than working…which is nice.
I really enjoyed River City Pizza. The cheese and toppings were all really tasty and fresh. This particular pizza had ranch sauce instead of the traditional tomatoes sauce, which is always a pleasant change. I would have liked to have a little more of the ranch sauce on the pizza. The crust was nice too. It wasn’t over cooked or soggy.
We even managed to save some pizza to eat cold. And it held up nicely. The cheese really pulled everything together.
For the price you are getting a good pizza that I would recommend.

Upon discovering this site and reading the review, I decided to try River City Pizza. We got a large River City Special. The toppings were generous and fresh tasting. Crust was like nothing I have had, very good thin crust. We have also added River City Pizza to one of our favorites to order from. Highly recommended!

Very good Pizza
Just tried River City Pizza for the first time – this one will be in my regular rotation to order from. Crust is similar to Niakwa, prehaps a little thicker but still a thin crust. Toppings were generous, ordering process was good (wasn’t put on hold for a long time, could understand the person taking the order, they got my order correct), delivery time was a little on the long side but showed up at the time quoted. Wings were good, but there was something about the flavour of the hot wing spice that I didn’t care for. (will try wings again, but a different flavour)
