A little bit of an impromptu pizza today. I needed a lunch and The Line Up in the Exchange District serves individual pizzas, how much better can it get? For $7 you can get yourself a 7″ Chicago style pizza. I have a soft spot in my soul for Chicago style deep dish pizza. There aren’t many places in the city that do it. Wasn’t feel too fancy so I went with a Pappa Roni, but I’d also highly recommend the Sweet Curry Chicken. This pizza is just the right size for lunch, the crust might be a little buttery for some, but I really enjoy how light it is. I would have liked the pepperoni to be a little more crispy, but for the amount of time I waited (like ten minutes) I really can’t complain that much!
If you are looking to make a date out of it totally check out the LineUp’s dinner and a movie deal.

The secret answer is Winnipeg.
Hi,
Where are you from? Is it a secret?
Thanks
Elcorin
Ever since Daren became the new owner of the Albert a year ago the food at the Albert is super good. They make an awesome tofu burger.
I would also disagree with Alex about Albert Street and even with eating at the Royal Albert Arms, now they have a new diner in there. Go check out the Royal Diner!
Needs more reviews for sure….what a joyous task. BTW I would not call Santa lucia on St. Mary’s “central’…..and to the poster that thinks Albert st. is just the skanky Albert hotel? Not so….
I have to disagree with you about Albert Street. All the restaurants on Albert street are great, and I’ve never had a problem there. I’m sure that a majority of people who work and play in the exchange will agree with me on that one too.
If you can’t make it for lunch you should take advantage of their dinner and a movie deal it is a great way to spend an evening.
Interesting. I never even knew about this place. A little far for me to go for lunch but one day. The fact it’s on Albert street is somewhat discouraging…I associate everything on that street with the Royal Albert in Arms which is not a place I would eat at.
You should do me a favour an rate this business on the web site I am currently developing for a company here in Winterpeg. I searched the database and see that it’s actually already in there, sweet!

I have also enjoyed the pappa roni pizza from The Line Up. I thought it was a really good pizza and the right size, but from the description I was expecting a little more pepperoni on the pizza. I also think the cheese could have been browned just a little. But I would definitely eat it again.
